Having read other peoples negative comments about this hotel, it was with with severe doubts that I arrived here on 31 October. My doubts were unfounded. THe room was very clean and comfortable with tea & coffee facilities plus the usual toiletries. The bathroom was spotless and the room overlooked the garden so was very little noise with the exception... more

Hotel has seen better days and foyer has the clutter of a hostel. Room was reasonable and clean but quite a bit of noise from the street. Staff were civil but could not be described as helpful. Breakfast was poor; make your own toast, tinned grapefruit, reconstituted orange juice etc. I paid about £25 pppn and as such was ok... more

The hotel is in a good location and we hardly spent any time in the hotel which was a good thing. It is close to Hyde Park, underground and bus routes including the tour buses. It is in serious need of some decoration and updating as it is tired and tatty. The room was really small and the en suite... more

I agree with those who wonder where all the poor reviews come from. Yes, the public rooms could use redecorating and the rooms are small, but we had a very good stay in an excellent location. The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was remodelled and the neighborhood was quiet.... more

The hotel is great for visiting London. It is in zone 1 for the tube so tickets are cheap! Easy to get to, great value, go on the internet to get a good rate! Our room was a triple room and it was in the basement and small for 3 people, however the bathroom was big. Even though the room... more

The hotel is very close to 2 tube stations and lots of shops/restaurants. There are lots of people always walking around so it felt very safe. The rooms are very tiny, but a good value for the money. A small breakfast is included which was adequate. The only bad part of the hotel are the elevators which are the smallest... more

I normally stay in small, basic, budget hotels in Europe and really don't have very high expectations. I am always pretty happy with the standard of the rooms and service. This would have to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The basic attention to detail and care just wasn't there. The fire alarm went off at 3am... more

I travel a lot and I'm not picky when it comes to hotels, but this place was probably one of my worst hotel experience. I stayed there in 2 different rooms, one facing the front street was small and ok. The second room I stayed was facing the back street, bigger but nasty. The carpet and the bed were just... more

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. When we first arrived we were handed our key and we went in search of the room which was on a mezzanine level on the first floor. It was a bit grubby and in need of a good clean and the decoration was tatty to say the least but the bathroom... more

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Got in early but they kept my bags until check in time, which was 2pm. It is very convenient to 2 underground stations among other things, such as an internet cafe, a pub and parks including a 5-7 walk to Notting Hill Gate. All in all, they were good. I didn't need much... more
