Heat did not work in our room during January stay: reports to the front desk resulted in 2 visits from an engineer and requests that we "wait" for fixed heating to work, which it never did. Each report of no heat was met by front desk personnel with assurance that manager would be asked to change our room; but when we spoke face to face with the manager, she insisted that engineer be sent up again. After four hours, late at night, jetlagged and chilled to the bone, we again complained about the lack of heat and were told a third time that an engineer would examine & fix the unit, at which point we demanded to be moved to another room. The engineer arrived and made a show of "calling" the manager on his walkie-talkie to request that we be moved so that we could overhear the manager say, "absolutely, no problem" as though she hadn't refused the same request multiple times already.
