The hotel is clean and well maintained. The walk to the Tube station, as well as the nearby Kensington Palace, is beautiful. The environment is clean and surrounding feels safe. Service wise, the concierge and reception staffs on duty are friendly and helpful. Reasonable response time towards requests. Room and toilet are spacious and clean. The only drawback we had... more

What disappointed me the most about this hotel is false advertising. The Marriott web site states that the hotel "is the most contemporary of hotels in London" and that it sports a "modern design." Please. Don't let the picture on the web site fool you. This hotel is essentially a musty old hotel that was acquired by Marriott around 2005... more

As a major hotel chain, everything is as it should be and there were no hassles at all. The restaurant wait staff are really accomodating. A high-chair-adaptor that mounts on the regular chair could be well adjusted to our 10-month-old's needs. At check-in we were offered the option of a groundfloor room, or 4th floor. We were provided with a... more

Decent hotel in a very good location. Rooms and public areas very much what you'd expect. Bar and restaurant about as bland as all Marriott's. Staff very friendly but pretty young and under trained, as usual with Marriott's. more

We have stayed at the Marriott in Kensington twice and really enjoyed both stays. They have a large Family rooms with 2 double beds and a large sitting area which is nice. The breakfast is really good with a great selection and the staff are always very helpfull. It's only a two minute walk to the underground. A good hotel... more

We recently stayed at this hotel over the weekend of the London marathon. First of all the location is superb with a 5 minute walk to the Tube, 10 minute walk to museums, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. From this hotel we were able to take some long walks into Hyde Park, Knightsbridge, Kensington, Theatre District, but the Tube is... more

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my 40th. The location was excellent, 5 minutes walk from Gloucester Rd tube station and 10 minutes walk from the Museums. The breakfast was very good, basically eat as much as you like! Room was great for our requirements. It was a good size and very clean. more

I recently booked this hotel through Amex travel - got a good deal with a stay for 2 nights, get 3rd night free promo - average night was about $110. Hotel was very convenient to Gloucester Road tube station - I took the tube from Heathrow right into the city and walked to the hotel, about a 5 minute walk.... more

This was my fourth stay ar this hotel, and I'm afraid it will be my last. I gave this hotel a very good review a couple of years ago, but it has gone downhill since then. We tried to check in at approx.12 noon, but was told the only room they had was on the ground floor, near the ballroom... more

I booked this hotel for 123 GBP without breakfast over Marriott's official website, no breakfast included. Check-in was friendly and efficient, although the girl tried a bit too hard to make small talk and flatter me. We arrived at 9.45am and were find out that she had a room which was already ready for us to move into. Turned out... more
