Enjoyed staying in this large hotel in bloomsbury while attending a trainin course for work nearby. Room was clean, spacious. Breakfast and dinner were very nice. Had a spicy burger from room service menu and man it was spicy! Burned my mouth out! Wifi was expensive in my opinion and recommend using other means to connect.. One downside of the... More

Moved to this holiday inn as the holiday inn express I stayed in in Victoria was truly awful. Again thy had a heating issue in the room - couldn't turn heat down, but it wasn't too bad and room itself was comfortable and water and orange juice was complimentary. Shower was nice but tap doesn't switch the water off afterwards... More

Good point: quiet area Points to improve: self-service breakfast out of scale with the price of the place; undrinkable breakfast coffee. More

We stayed for 1 night. It was a good value at the time and the rooms were surprisingly spacious. Plan a good 15 mins to walk to/from King's Cross Station. We preferred taking the Russel Square Tube stop to head further into the city, 10 minute walk, and it offered a nicer/"safer" feeling walking at night plus there are a... More

Location - We booked this hotel as part of a theatre, show and stay break. Its a 15 minute walk (1.5 mile) from Kings Cross St Pancreas and 20-25 minute walk (1.6 mile) to Oxford street and some of the theatres. Local Costs - The cab fair to get to the theatre for the 19:30 show is expensive as traffic... More

I stayed here on business for three nights. It's fairly well located - around 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross and 15 from Euston - so handy for the Northern Line. The hotel is nicely decorated and my room was very spacious. It was also warm, which was appreciated at the time I stayed because it was freezing outside. It... More

I stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night with my daughter, mother & other family members, we had two rooms & we were all very impressed with this hotel. The front of house staff were excellent, restaurant & bar staff were also very good, our rooms spotless & very comfortable. Some photos on different websites can be off putting... More

I stayed here for business last week and the hotel was ok but I would not recommend it to my colleagues. The room was clean but there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in my room and it was even stronger in the corridor. I stayed in room 506. Breakfast is ok if you like a good English fry... I have stayed in many hotels in london and think this is one of the best. I stayed in room 644 which was extremely quiet. It had 2 double beds and lots of space. Everything you would need. A car park with limited spaces but only £20 until 6pm the following night and I got a space on both days... More

Rooms were tatty and actually really dirty, staff were rude and impossible to track-down when you needed something (aparrently it's strange to order a cup of tea before 5pm!), food was worse than horrible. We stayed for 4 nights on business and frankly it was embarassing. One of our guests descirbed it as everything done to the minimum requirement everywhere.... More
