The hotel is located in a quiet area although facing a street corner. The receptionists as well as staffs are well trained. The room is small but clean and acceptable for just sleeping. The breakfast buffet has two different courses and I chose the simple English Breakfast type when I applied on the internet. However it is so shabby and... More

The factors that set this hotel apart are. 1. Location 2. Staff. Ideally situated close to S.Kensington and Gloucester Rd stations. Great walks nearby. The staff are wonderful. They are attentive and most helpful with issues. Breakfast is good as well. The downside is.... The rooms. We were like the 3 Bears The first toom - air conditioning didn't work.... More

Stayed here on a recent visit to London, whilst perhaps not all whistles and bells this hotel provides a good location for exploring. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff were excellent throughout and happy to go that extra mile. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to lay their heads with out the extras that cost... More

I stayed at this hotel at the recommendation of V&A staff. The price and location were great. Good restaurants in the area, close to V&A, close to Tube station/Piccadilly line, easy to get to and from Heathrow. No issue with staff, who were professional and helpful when asked. I had a lovely updated room. Restaurants - Bumpkin, Muriel's Kitchen, La... More

Booked this hotel because it is close to the main museums. We were not expecting much for the price we had paid but we were surprisingly pleased. The room we were in looked like it had recently been refitted. The reception staff were more than friendly. We didnt try any food so can't comment on that. Keep up the good... More

We have stayed in the hotel Regency twice in the last year. On each visit we were greeted by the extremely professional and friendly front desk staff. The rooms are beautiful! AND very large and comfortable for a city hotel. Everything is very modern, efficient and clean. Its location is a big plus-just a block away from the South Kensington... More

Booked the hotel because of its location to the Royal Albert Hall. Arrived to very pleasant reception staff. Offered upgrade to larger room (not sure how small standard rooms were though) for £30 per room to include complimentary tea coffee til 5.30pm then alcoholic beverages 5.30pm to 7pm, continental breakfast, gym use (ha ha) and internet access......definitely worth the extra.... We've been looking for some time for a London hotel we would be happy to come back to. I think we've found it! The location is just brilliant. The bed was very comfortable (I was dubious about memory foam mattresses, but I needn't have been.) The room had obviously recently been refurbished to a high standard (with Hans Grohe bathroom... We have just returned from London, staying at the Regency Hotel - Queens Gate. Our stay was for two weeks, we were very pleased with our choice - noted through Trip Advisor. Found the staff very obliging, the concierge are more approachable than the female members at reception.Nothing was a problem for them. We needed hospital directions & services outside... More
