We stayed for 5 nights during the Olympics. Nice friendly staff and good value with an excellent fry up for breakfast. It is slightly shabby but clean and has not had all its character erased. staff were very friendly and helpful. The accomodation was good value, especially for london. Quite location for saying above a pub and near the railway line also in a built up area. Handy being 5 minutes away from elephant and castle tube station. Good breakfast and the room very clean and tidy and accomodating for a small child.

Hampton court was fabulous. You need the better part of the day to see it all. Audio tours are fine but spring for the real ones if possible.
