My second time staying here, the last time was in 2018, and there have been some upgrades since. I like it as it’s close to Kings Cross Station, and very easy to get into central London by bus or Tube….or walk if the weather cooperates! I had a fairly major problem with my room on the first night, and was quickly moved to another one right away, then back to one of the type I had booked, later that day, for the rest of my stay. I was compensated , without asking, for the inconvenience. I can’t say enough good things about all the staff working in the hotel! They are all delightful and so helpful. Thanks again to Paulina and Aneta for your help! I will stay there again, and will recommend it to others.

Staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Room comfy and spotlessly clean; faces a park so very quiet during the night. Breakfast served at the table was plentiful, well cooked and tasty. Continental selection also had lots of choice.

The Euro is only a 7 minute walk to StPancras / Kings Cross and Euston stations. Set in a quiet area just of the Euston road. Check was good and easy, key to room and outside door given. Double room with toilet/shower was on the small side ,but only sleeping one night and it was clean. Breakfast is served from 7.30 am ,but as was catching an early train next morning a breakfast tray was left for us in the room. A pleasant stay and would recommend .

I booked this place for the location, since it is very close to Kings Cross. The shared bathroom and shower facility was clean and decent to use. The room was self sufficient with a little sink. Having a table fan in the room was a big plus as it was summer and it was hot (no AC). The staff was friendly. It was easy to store my luggage after checkout. The room could have been cleaner, especially the carpet. The room flooring was uneven. Breakfast was just ok. The room faced the park outside and it did get noisy at times.

We booked 3 nights for our end-of-cruise trip on the recommendation of family who had stayed here a few years ago. Located in a quiet area of London, it is easily accessible by the tube (Russell station is just a few blocks away). The hotel is in an older building - probably formerly flats converted to the hotel. Security is excellent, with a required pass code to enter the front door. The lobby doubles as the breakfast dining area, with tables and chairs. The desk is not manned at night. We found the receptionist to be very friendly and focused on making people comfortable. We had noted that there were no lifts in this building prior to booking and requested a ground level room, which we got. The room is simple and basic (a double bed with ensuite). The bathroom was a good size and clean, with expected towels and toiletries. There was a tea kettle and teas in the room. The bed, while a bit lumpy, was comfortable enough. There was a mini-split air conditioner in the room that worked well. There were no refrigerators nor microwaves, however. Breakfast was delicious - with a choice between continental buffet of coffee, tea, juices, water, rolls and cereals or a hot breakfast can be ordered, including eggs, toast, sausages, etc. This is included in the room cost. The nicest thing that occurred was on our last night. My husband had mentioned to the front desk that we would be leaving before they opened at 0700, and the evening before, unbidden, she presented to us in our room a large tray with cereal, yogurt, juices and milk in a thermos so we could have a breakfast before leaving the next morning! Such a nice touch! The only cautions I might mention is that this is a bit off the path from the main tourist areas....and as such I felt like we had to make a trek each day as we wanted to sightsee. We happened to be there on an exceptionally hot weekend (90 F!) So walking to the tube was brutal, even though it was only about 4 blocks away. It was also far away from the Victoria train station, where we arrived and left London....so it required an Uber/taxi in order to get our luggage there easily. (Uber was great). So, consider transportation for sightseeing or transit to and from the airports if you'd rather be closer in to the main areas. Lastly, we found plenty of restaurants and stores nearby - and the Lord John Russell pub was excellent! We ate there twice, with great service, quality food and an authentic pub ambiance.

Good hotel in a quiet street close to St Pancras and Russell Square stations. Very quiet despite location being so busy! A friendly welcome and helpful staff on duty at breakfast and at Reception. Very clean rooms and bedding etc. some furniture was a bit past its best but that was a minor thing! No lifts so be aware if you are on floor 2or higher.

We have just returned from a night away in London. We struggled to find a room for 3 adults at a reasonable price. We can across this hotel and decided to book although did not know what to expect. The hotel was basic but very clean. Staff very friendly. It was fine for what we required which was just a bed for the night without the expensive price tag attached. Only slight issue is the single bed mattress in the triple room probably needs changing. There is a large dip in the middle as if springs have gone and so a big uncomfortable. It was okay for one night but if booked a few more nights could imagine it could be a problem. Would book again.

I booked there very last minute due to a problem somewhere else and the staff at the desk was really helpful and pleasant. I ended up with a tiny en-suite single room, but everything I needed was there. It was clean and comfortable. I only give 4 stars because the breakfast is a bit bland, but generous in portions and filling for a good day of walking around in London. Fantastic location: quiet street, pubs, cafés, restaurants, parks and tube stations just a few minutes of walking from the hotel. I would return any time!

First you get three keys, difficult to distinguish between, one for toilet end of hall, one for shower, other front door.No lifts. Very hot. Shower hard to control and shower in VERY HOT water also. Not particularly stimulating gardens...more amateur tennis courts. Very small single bed. Tacky wall fitted bed lamp. Kettle under wall mounted telly. Hot drinks etc T and coffees abobe pillow opposite end of narrow room. Basic. Poor state of decor in window area especially. Clearly some renovations are underway...scaffolding and planks and work stuff visible as you come to breakfast from Room 15 my single room. Not a hazzard...but visible. Stains in shower near outlet. Basis old shower head. Toilet tiny and narrow. Badly cut tiles near knees when sitting on loo to left. Floor tiles cracked and edges of toilet 'room?' grundgy and basic. No mirrors in toilet nor shower. Bedroom yes. there was a large pile of tiny comments slips which I duteously copied and handed one in. Receptionist also busy with breakfast...no bell at reception just a table top division between breakfast area and kitchen. Service was very poor. You had to wait and wait. Same breakfast service poor. Sausages not fully cooked and even after requesting well cooked same arrived with a pale underbelly!! Tomatoes uncooked. Toast soggy. Basic quality but a variety there. I had to ask for teapot then waited to ask for milk jug and so on...

Response from Paulina Moscicka, General Manager at The Euro Hotel
Responded 2 May 2023
I am concerned that you were so dissatisfied with your short overnight stay with us and that you felt neglected despite four members of staff being involved in serving and assisting you. You were unhappy with the breakfast service — being given a large table rather than a small one. You had three servers attending to your requests and as our breakfasts are cooked to order we cooked an extra sausage well done as requested. You had several other complaints which we tried to deal with that morning. You complained about the shower pressure which was immediately checked with the pressure and the shower mixer working correctly. You made additional adverse comments about the size of the bedside lamp, the location of the room mirrors, the lack of a written manual on the operation of the TV remote control, the lack of bell in reception for guests to summon reception staff. All in all, you were unhappy with your stay which we regret. We did all that we could to assist you and trust that our explanation of the situation assists.
