I have to say, after reading the reviews i was expecting something dismal. I was so surprised. The rooms were really big, clean sheets and all had brand new fitted bathrooms. I must say the staff did not speak a word of english but were friendly and happy to help. The location was great and they even let us leave... more

This "hostel" was just horrible, when we arrived, the hostel was closed and we had to wait for a long time for the "reception man" to come with the keys. The receptionnist barely spoke English (or French ^^) and there was an officer from Scotland who was making an investigation on the hotel! It was horrible! Mices dropping in the... more

Totally agree with all the negative reviews of this place. It's a dump, a doss-house. Even giving it 1 star is over-generous - it's worse than terrible. Sleep on the streets - much more pleasant. I was moved here by the Berkeley Court Hotel because the toilet was broken at my room there - got the impression they are in... more

At this hotel you have to leave the keys at the front desk. I went out to a cafe for a tea, and came back and my room and been tossed and all my valuables were stolen. STAY AWAY!!!! more

My friend and i arrived at this hotel at 2.30am and were told we had to pay for all 4 nights before proceeding to the room. As we were exhausted we made the mistake of doing so. I was shocked to find that the room was very small, with paint peeling off the walls, dirty pieces of torn material used... more

We booked this hotel through laterooms.com. This is a very cheap hotel and we had a large room to sleep four people for only £75. The beds were clean and new, the towels were clean though threadbare, the TV was enormous. On the negative side, the decor was very cheaply and roughly done, the carpet was dirty, the curtains unhemmed... more

I had done a lot of online research about where to stay for a short return to London, having lived in the city from 2003 to 2005. I wisely picked a different hotel; but for my last night there, I was informed that the facility was overbooked. Since the management there had been so nice, I complied with their request... more
