I discovered The Rhodes when i went back to the UK after 40 years away. (Thanks to TripAdvisor!) I am a "young-ish-60 year old" who travels alone. Since 2008, I now travel to London about 3 times per year. I come for 9 days at a time and spend the weekends in London at the Rhodes and then go down... More

I spent three days in the hotel with my friends. The room was clean, but there was not enough space between the beds. The owner was helpful and the breakfast was included in the price (eggs, toast bread, fruits, cheese and so on). It was also quite and nearby there were two lovely pubs. The metro station was only 5... More

This was our first B&B on our whirlwind tour of England. Spent 2 nights at the Rhodes. The location was great, close to Paddington station and Hyde Park, walking distance to Harrods and Kensington Palace. Loved the walk through the park. Can't say enough about the staff, super friendly and helpful. My sister had forgotten her medication in Canada and... More

In these days of chain-based hotels it's such a pleasant experience to stay at an independently run hotel that puts all of the others to shame. I cannot begin to describe how happy we were with our stay at the Rhodes :-) The owner Mister Crias is a warm and welcoming gentleman and is very attentive to every aspect of... More

I lived not in main building, but in another block just around the corner. Clean, silent, no lift, but with fridge and conditioner in room. Only one problem - even closed window didn't save from small draught. Not nice when outside is +5. More

I am a mom with 2 little kids and we booked a triple room that was great: comfortable, spacious, with a big flat screen tv. the bathroom was really nice, kids loved taking bath on the whirlpool and making bubbles! Negative points: we were not in the hotel main building and we had to go out to have breakfast, that... More

The three of us stayed at the annex building around the corner of the main building in room 306 (basement). We were very satisfied with the room (we did not need a nice vieuw, being up and about all the time) and our daughter was immensely pleased with the coloured lights in the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty space... More

Stayed there for a week and will definitely stay again in the future. The hotel rooms are in very good condition and are constantly being upgraded with the bathrooms our room being of 5* quality. The cleanliness could not be better and the hotel staff are very friendly, especially Mr Chris who is a bio-Wikipedia full of knowledge and wisdom.... More
