If you're travelling with a young child, look no further! This B&B has a self catering apartment that meets all your needs. Good bedroom, bathroom and kitchen; spacious living room for our 14 months old son to play around. We placed his cot (provided by Lydia) in the living room, let him fall asleep on our bed and transferred him... More

If you are arriving in London at heathrow, be aware that the staff in the train station don't really seem to know how to get to New Cross Gate. After two people gave us wrong directions, and a third very rude man basically told us to get lost ( he was working at the " info" window...), the fourth fellow... More

Staying at a b&b is so much more personal then at a regular hotel. I stayed at TelegraphHill for a week-end with a friend of mine. When we came, Lydia met us and showed us to our room- which was a quite large bedroom with a lovely bed (seriously, I slept like a princess) and we had a large bathroom... More

I chose this B&B based on its proximity to Goldsmiths as well as other reviews. The room upstairs was comfortable and clean, the breakfast great. I even got to see a couple of urban foxes playing in the garden. (I wasn't startled, as my son had told me about the foxes.) Lydia was a wonderful host. When our son graduates... More

I picked this place because it was the nearest to stay close to a friend of mine and the best choice I could have made travelling as a single woman. I felt welcome and home from the start and the room in the attic was fantasic and I loved the view over the garden. The bed was large and very... More

We stayed in the apartment a couple of weekends for 2 nights. With a 18 month old, having more than just a room was important and the apartment was just what we needed. Just off the main road it was really easy to find and a bus stop directly opposite made getting round easier. Worth noting though that if you... More

Great location for access to public transportation. If taking the underground, it's a bit of a steep hill to climb after a long day of exploring London, however, there is a bus route which takes you to the top of the hill and you can walk down. The neighborhood seems to be in transition so ranges from poorly maintained places... More

Im dissapointed your stay was average. You pointed out you had not checked the website prior to booking in which case its hard to know what to expect. The website ensures customers are aware we are in a conservation area designed to protect a bit of Victorian antiquity. And our images specifically highlight the decor of our home. For the... More

We stayed in the Telegraph Hill B&B this weekend. The whole house is beautiful - spacious, elegant decor and very comfy. Lydia & Zac were away but Zac's Mum was so welcoming, helped us with everything we needed, and served a fantastic breakfast in the kitchen diner which overlooks the garden. The location is convenient and there is an impressive... More

What a find! The proximity to Goldsmiths was the reason for my initial selection of this friendly family B&B but it is also close to the beautiful Telegraph Hill Park and New Cross Gate overland railway station that connects to the underground system. If you prefer to see the view as you travel, there are double decker buses from the... More

This is the kind of place you'll stay if you value authentic experience over luxury and overpriced hotels. This lovely B&B is situated in a green and quite area, almost on the top of Telegraph Hill where you find a beautiful view over the entire city of London. Thanks to Lydia and Zac's warm welcome, we felt like being home... More
