Generally there is great atmosphere, you can feel comfortable. Only1 minus - water is cold. Spending 4 days in that hostel i had hot... More

I stayed here 3 nights and had a fine time. The room was for four women with en suite bathroom. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The metal bunks were a bit squeaky, but still comfy. There was plenty of room to spread out. The downstairs lounge was a great place to review the day over a pint. The staff... More

Stayed for with a friend in a 6-bed dorm from 16-19 November 2012, room was decent, clean, had en suite bathroom with newly fitted appliances (shower, sink, toilet etc). The Great Eastern is situated on the upper floors of a pub of same name, has complimentary wi-fi throughout and a voucher for half-priced drinks at the bar when you stay.... More

Decent hostel for visiting Greenwich. Found it clean and relaxed but breakfast finishes too early. Who wants to get up at 8 when theyre travelling? Also there are not enough showers on second floor. Apart from that it was fairly good value for the money.

If you dont mind dormitory accomodation, then this is undoutedly the best value for money accomodation in London. A lively place good for meeting others, especially in the bar area which also serves the local population and shows sky sports most nights. It is served well by island gardens on the DLR/tube and the area is within walking distance of... More

It is really great value for money... Although the bed is triple bunk in dorm but was comfortable enough for me... Breakfast is included as well and the location is not that bad for me as I enjoy the neighborhood around the hostel...

I've been staying there for over two weeks now and, compared to other hostels in London, couldn't be happier. I've tried out other places in between to get around a bit but always came back here. Large rooms; hot, clean showers; free and reliable wifi in the common room, bar and bedrooms; free breakfast (it's not much but it's a... More

THIS HOSTEL HAS BEDBUGS!!! Having stayed at this hostel fairly frequently over the last few months, I never had any reason to be unhappy with it. However, I awoke one morning this week looking up at a bed bug and have a photo to prove it. I have since spent the week trying to avoid scratching the 15 or so... More

Was a good quiet hotel in zone 2 London not fast from the island garden DLR stop. The service was good and the weekday price price was very good and included breakfast which included toast, cornflakes, coffee and tea. They don't have kitchen facilities but you get a half price drink on arrival and make good pizzas. The shorts and... More
