We stayed in room 1 in April. Fortunately for one night only. The worst aspect of the room was that the carpet was so dirty that we did not want to remove our shoes. It looked like it had not been vacuumed for weeks! There was an evident smell of damp and urine. The room is about 9m square, so... more

I stayed at the Cecil Court last month, January 07, when I was passing through London on business. I am guessing that there has been a hell of a lot of money put into the place since the last review as for its price the place is fabulous. Wooden flooring, the mattress I was sorely tempted to try and fit... more

The hotel rooms are quite small, though we did get one of the biggest... the bathroom is tiny, but the sheets and towels were clean, the water was hot, and the heater worked more than ok... I believe its a fine place to stay if you wish to pay little and have your own private bathroom. I mean, dont expect... more

this place is horrible.....no reception room!!! no answer to my e-mails as I was getting in at 2 a. m. from the airport and was worried they would give my room to other people and I would be left stranded in London! dirty mattresses and covers with cigarette burns, no space, cold room, bathroom where you could not close the... more

I hesitated about a rating for this hotel because there is absolutely nothing fancy about it that makes it rate 4 dots, but it really is a good choice for the price. I had a single with an ensuite bathroom near the top of the hotel at the back. I happened to hit a heat wave in London, so the... more

We booked a standard room, but didnt realise there was no en suite bathroom...the bathroom was a shared facility 2 floors down. im not complaining, because it cost £45...in London! We... more

Had to go to England on a low-budget job for work and so, although I wasn't footing the bill, I had to find cheap accomodations that would still of course be comfortable for me. After extensive searching I found the Cecil Court Hotel (which is a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station and a 7 minute walk to the Marble... more

I got myself a Single Ensuite, stayed for 2 nights during the start of winter. It was ok, but you might want to avoid it during summer since there's no air conditioning, only a heater. The toilet and shower room are together and it is quite small. In fact, very small. Probably not so suitable for football players~!! The service... more

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and everytime was greeted at the door (very safe) and given great recommendations. It is located near the Edgeware Rd. Tube stop and Praed street (full of resturants and shops). However, the rooms definatly need to be redone. The wallpaper was coming off in my room and the carpet and bedsheets were old... more
