We stayed here as an overnight stop before catching the Eurostar. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was tired decor- wise but clean and the bed was very comfortable. We paid £39 which is good value for central London. We even had a couple of drinks in a nice welcoming pub opposite the hotel, (The Carpenters Arms). More

This is my review for a Travel Agent review site: The London Kings Cross Royal Scot is a great base for everyone. It is far enough out of the centre of London to get a good night’s sleep while being a short journey by tube into the centre of London for all its attractions. Locating the hotel could be difficult... More

Dirty, dark and old. Needs a facelift and double glazed windows! Kept awake most of night due to traffic. Good location though- just 5 minutes walk to station. More

Travelodges are usually the same ~ Grubby and noisy. This is no different in cleanliness/decor aspect. On the positive side it is convenient for Eurostar and cheap. More

We only needed a room for one night and that was enough! The room was very basic. It was clean, but the grouting in the bathroom needed some attention. The bathroom was tiny and the shower head had a life of it's own spraying the whole of the bathroom!! We paid for breakfast which was warm. I wouldn't recommend this... More

Stayed here for one night in december and we were extremely disappointed. The staff were helpful when we checked in, however it then went downhill! We went to our room and there was a disgusting smell on the whole of the 5th floor, when we reached the room the walls were covered in mould, it smelt of damp and it... More

The hotel is well located (5 to 10 minute walk) from Kings Cross St. Pancras, however there is a second King Cross Travelodge, which is slightly closer. From the outside, this other Travelodge looks to be in much better condition. The self-service kiosks were all out of order, but there was no line to check in at the counter. I... More

We stayed here for two nights last week to end a week of travelling around the country - we paid £10 to check in early and were quickly directed to our room. We were told our room was on the second floor, so we walked all over the second floor to find out that our room was actually below the... More

On arrival after a long journey from Paris we went to check in in we noticed unattended luggage in and around the reception area and security not bothering to do anything about it when we got to the room on the fourth floor we found it to be already occupied by someone else, we went back to reception and they...
