Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kew Bridge is a great location, clean and comfortable with the best Bar Cafe we’ve experienced stopping there twice. But we amended our booking, paid an extra £30.99 and on arrival the amendment was overlooked and not corrected leaving us with an extra guest and nowhere for them to stay 😡

The room was very hot when I arrived. The heater was set to 20°C. I turned the heater down. In the middle of the night, the heater reset itself to 20°C (which, presumably due to poor thermostat placement, resulted in the room being much hotter than 20°C) and I was rudely awoken by the intense heat.

Terrible experience. Miserable food at breakfast only made worse by the attitude of the manageress. Everything’ is too much trouble, Maybe in wrong job. Bathroom needs to be replaced as the shower was impossible to alter temperature. Definitely not value for money

Staff are very welcoming, courteous and kind, eager to meet one's requirements. Whole hotel exceptionally clean. Food excellent, fresh and perfectly cooked. Room was aired, comfortable, clean and warm, being on the top floor meant it was very quiet. View from room was great. I cannot fault anything and am eager to return!

A quiet, relaxing stay with car parking at £8 per day - paid on arrival and didn't have to think about it again.Breakfasts were enjoyable and my family, who live quite near, came to join me one day, as children up to age 15, eat free with an adult. Nice TV in room and kettle/coffee/tea available with refills as required.

Although the room we stayed in was a little tired (other rooms where being updated, but we chose an older room so we could check in sooner.) we really enjoyed our stay. The area that's it in is a little sad, but a great position for getting onto beautiful walking along both sides of the Thames path. Very helpful staff.

I booked this hotel for its proximity to Kew Gardens, walking distance. I then read some rather uncomplementary reviews which in my experience would like to contradict. The room was clean, aired and well heated. The bathroom clean and tidy, shower good. The bedding was fresh and clean. Checking in staff polite and welcoming. We didnt have food there.

Me and my family stayed here for a few nights last week. After checking out I had realised that I’d left my duty free items in the room, notably 200 cigarettes. I immediately called the Hotel once I’d realised and was told by Hafsa on reception to call after 4pm once the cleaners had finished. I called back and was met by the timid Hafsa on the other end of the phone who answered the phone like it was her personal phone and not as a representative of the hotel. Hafsa said the cleaners found no belongings in the room (what a surprise!) and when I suggested it’s impossible and mentioned where I’d left the bag and that the cleaners have definitely stolen it! She told me it was the supervisor that cleaned the room so they can’t have stolen. At this point I was at the airport or else I would have gone back to the hotel to confront them myself. Hafsa was extremely unhelpful and I am shocked and angered that the cleaners felt that they were entitled to our duty free bag we had clearly forgotten by accident. I won’t be staying again as I don’t trust my items to be safe here! Be aware!!
