Solo traveler, so I was interested in finding a place to sleep just for one night near the train station that was safe, clean and provided breakfast and free wifi. This is a no frills place- if you arrive early, you place your luggage in a small locked closet with everyone else's. Shared toilet, but I had a shower in... More

We were booked into this joke of a hotel for a work function - there is no way on this planet I would ever chose to stay in such a dirty, run down, nasty hotel. It would have been cleaner and more comfortable to sleep rough. The rooms were filthy and tiny. Nothing worked, the paint was peeling of the... More

3 beds stuffed into a room the size of a cupboard. Polystyrene cups and a handful of teabags. No floor space. Tiny shower squeezed into the corner. No toilet in the room (we had to share with the other 7 rooms on the floor). Three of us sharing that room each had to perform some sort of elaborate Hokey Cokey... More

I chose this hotel because it's really close to King's Cross station. I spent more than I had spent in much better hotels. The room was quite dirty, the tea kettke hadn't been emptied, there was rubbish on the floor, the emergency instructions along with the hotel info were hidden in a cupboard and the room was really tiny. Very basic hotel, hardly slept with the noise from next room. Shared toilet on corridor, polystyrene cups n handful of typhoo tea bags on the side, tv from the 70's with most buttons missing. Location is good ideal for kings cross station and looks ok from outside. Set in a nice square of London town house style buildings. Don't think... More

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and the location was perfect, as we were travelling to and from King's Cross/St. Pancras. Also very central for sightseeing, shopping, theaters etc. However, that was the only good thing about this place! We arrived before noon and were offered the key to the storage room to put our luggage in. This... More

We chose the Montana because of the location and the relatively affordable price. We pretty much got what we paid for. Overall it wasnt so bad, but next time we venture to london, we'll look for alternative accommodation. Good Points > Location- 5mins from KingsX > Fairly Clean- for an old property Bad Points > Breakfast room too small for... More

We stayed at the hotel because we were catching the Eurostar the next day. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted it for. It was cheap as well. We arrived late in the evening and there was a 24 hour reception so checking in was ok. We left early the next morning, too early to get breakfast at the... More

My partner booked us into this hotel when we stayed in 2010...the receptionists were fairly friendly...it was a lot smaller than i had imagined but it was cosy. The rooms only had a shower in the corner. The toilet was in the corridoor outside for eveyone to share, which id never experienced before so that was different. Been 8 month... More
