Upon arrival we were pleasantly amazed how beautiful and charming was this resort. Dolores, the site manager was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. We got Oyster cards for the week to get around the city. If you follow the channel towards Surrey Quays shopping center and Canada Water tube station it's extremely easy to navigate the city. We are planning to return!

I stayed at Odessa Wharf with my parents (3 people) and it was a great experience. We got a room with an amazing view of the Thames river. My parents stayed at the main bedroom and I was sleeping in the living room (bed is comfortable.) Kitchen fully equipped. It's a bit far from the center but less pricey and much more spacious than you would find closer to the center. We used the Oyster card for bus (7-5 walk), tube (Canada center). Sometimes we took Uber Boat (for international visitors I recommend buying the tickets with the Uber boat app). There's a pub next to the hotel that we didn't have the chance to visit but heard the food and drinks are good. The hotel manager Dolores is super nice and lovely person. She was very helpful and even helped ordering a taxi from the hotel to the airport. She left us the key under the rag in front of the reception since we arrived late at night. She doesn't work Friday noon to Sunday but she's available on the phone. We didn't need to use the laundry services but Dolores has information on how to do it in the hotel. All in all we were extremely happy. It was a quite neighborhood and every morning we woke up with an incredible view. I even noticed two swans swimming across the river one morning. At night the combination of the the river and the financial district lights reminded me of New York with an English unique touch.

Best thing about this location is the Pub in front & the unit has wifi. If you have a mold or dust sensitivity/allergy this is not the location for you. Don’t expect a waterfront unit either. Location is far off the beaten path and not close to a tube station. Also, do not bother to try and communicate in advance with the management, because they do not respond.

We were overall very disappointed with this location. There was loud construction outside of our unit the entire time we were there (November 15-22 2019). This started as early as 0730 in the morning. Though obviously not within the control of the manager, there was also a crying infant on the other side of our bedroom wall which made sleep during our visit very elusive. For future travelers, the walls are very thin, you may need to purchase a fan or some other noise maker. Also, the unit itself was in disrepair. There were large parts of the wall where it was obvious something had run into them. Some cabinets in the kitchen were not attached to their hinges and would just fall off. Being somewhat heavy, it was concerning they would hurt someone. We were also disappointed to find out that the oven did not work at all (I encourage you to check that it works when you get there so that you will not spend 30 pounds on groceries like we did only to discover you have no means of cooking them). The manager said she had been checking our unit before we got there, but she did not tell us about any of these things. If your goal (like ours was) is to save money by doing some cooking in your flat, it was not possible in this unit. Be advised that there is a fee for utilities (this we knew ahead of time, of course) that has no bearing on what you personally use during your visit. For us, it was 60 pounds. We were there for 7 days and we were told on the 5th day what our bill would be. I say all of this because the location is somewhat far from a tube station. My husband and I chose to walk to the Canada Tube station which was about a mile from Odessa Wharf, the walk is not bad, but for the price of the unit and overall poor impression, it would have saved us money and time to find a reasonable hotel in on the northern side of the Thames that didn't require such extensive travel every day, given that we had to eat out for nearly every meal anyway. If the unit had been quieter, the appliances/cabinets fixed, and the dents in the wall mentioned to us, it would have been a much better experience. We were not impressed given the price. I would not recommend this if you are trying to experience London for the first time as we were.

As a frequently traveling family we are used to different standards. Odessa Wharf has by far the dirtiest, worst equipped kitchen, no lights in bathrooms, non-existent service and reception availability we have ever experienced. With little effort the land-lord could make this a very nice vacation apartment with great location near the Themsen. Unfortunately there seems to be no interest and a total incapacity!

Spacious, nicely furnished bedrooms. Nice, well-equipt kitchen. Surprisingly spacious living room. Enclosed, rooftop viewing area was an added plus for seeing the Thames at night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for our needs. 5-minute walk to Greenlands Pier which enabled daily travel by Thames Clipper to all of the major piers along the Thames - a fantastic way to get around London to all of the tourist spots we wanted to hit.

Though a bit expensive this was a great location right on the shore of the Thames River in greater London. Our unit had a balcony with a great close up view of the river. Our bedding was most comfortable. Our unit building had no on site staff though so there was a time lag dealing with any unit problems or concerns. We did have to survive our week with no hot water in the tube/shower. No visible housekeeping.

We had a wonderful week along the Thames. Great views of the river. Good place if you enjoy traveling London by bus, otherwise close to Canada Water tube stop. We had a two bedrooms/ two bath unit with kitchen and living room. If you want to be out of central London but easy transportation to all the highlights of London, you will enjoy these flats.

Odessa Wharf is not your normal resort as it only has a few rooms and 1 part-time staff member who works only a few hours a couple of days a week. It is slightly out of the way being about 20 minutes walk from the nearest tube station. However, there is a river ferry (Riverbus) stop about 5 minutes away. The location is right next to the Thames, our room had a balcony and we could hear the waves lapping at the banks. The views while walking are good. There are 2 local pubs close to the resort. The staff member is very customer oriented and full of information. Remember to test everything once you get to the room as she is not on the property over the weekend. There is no ensuite laundry facilities or laundry room but she has recommendations. There is a common lounge but we did not visit it. Our apartment was large enough for 4 adults and the Murphy beds in the living room were surprisingly comfortable. The stove was a model we hadn't used before but the manual was available. There is high speed WiFi but the instructions need to be updated with the most recent password. Near the tube station is a regular mall with a full grocery store for easy shopping. The apartments are not disability friendly as there are no elevators and lots of steps plus the side of our bath was quite high (higher than in the US) which makes it more difficult to get in to. But if you want to get away from the London crowds and like peace and quiet, this might be the place for you.

Location is good , transportation are convininece as buses and London tube station near by. Good restaurant just in front of the apartment, for those who came to relax is very nice as the area is quiet. Community very friendly. If bathroom amenities provided and the washing machine can be access 24hrs will be fantastic.
