Location; close to kings cross / st pancras tube station. That is the only positive about this place. Its in a very seedy area, known for prostitution and drugs. Actually 2 girls got mugged right infront of us! NOT A SAFE AREA Building / rooms: DIRTY / RUN DOWN. The toilets were clogged on the main floor. The "Unisex" washroom... more

I've stayed in about 30+ hostels worldwide during my time as a backpacker and this is definitely the worst one yet. I booked in on Friday night and there was a girl in my room who was very strange and kept wedging the door open, lessening the security of my belongings and she refused to close it, so the accommodating... more

I normally stay in the YHA St Pancras when I am slumming it in London - but it was closed for refurbishment on the very weekend I was going to be there. And not having the 90 quid to book a decent hotel I had to book an alternative hostel - and Hostelworld came up with this place - located... more

YUCK! We recently stayed a night at this hostel and found it to be extremely dirty and loud (despite the "quiet" after 11pm rule). Everything was gross: the showers were cold, had black mold growing in them, and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks, the floors in the room have not been hoovered in months and the kitchen... more

We stayed at the hostel for over a week. Had no heat for several days. This was January, so we were freezing. Barely anything that could be called a blanket. No hot water for 5 days. With no heat and no hot water, it was a nightmare. Otherwise, the location was fine. The set-up was as I expected from a... more

Great staff and good welcoming. that's a bit small inside (staircase, bedrooms) but very secured, I found the area quiet, and you can find everything you need. You can take everything you need at breakfast and meet nice people in the kitchen. The place is cleaned and you need to remove your personal things from the bed and everything will... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here in December. We were trying to stay at the St.Pancras hostel (which looks extremely nice from the outside) but were misdirected here by the tourism board. When we arrived our room was freezing cold, they guy at the front desk said that the window was open(fiddled with it) and that the heat was off(fiddled... more

The worst place i've never stayed. I visited on October'03 and the place was terrible. The beds, the rooms, the toilets,etc.. was dirty and a lot of thing was broken. The hot water doesn't work. You can find other hostels (near to King Cross) for the same price or bed&breakfast also, in good conditions. I don't recommend you this place. more

I've stayed here in October. The twin room had no heating, nothing else than the bunk beds (not even a chair), the bathrooms were very dirty and disgusting. The included breakfast consisted of some bread, jam butter and cereals let around in the dirty kitchen for you to help yourself. I know it's London, but you can find so much... more

I've been in a lot of hostels around the world and this is absolutely the worst!A big hole has been in the middle of the floor of our room; the window has been broken and repaired with a paper sheet, so the room has been very cold;the (shared) bath has been really crumbling! The low price don't justify the very bad... more
