Its disgusting staying here. We stayed in a private room and its like a prison once u walk into the hall way with big numbers on the doors. Smelly and dirty in the room and the shower. Shower got no doors and stained. If u can pay extra £10, u can live in a better place. Convenient but absolutely nothing.... more

Staff was friendly and helpful but the room, bathroom and showers were quite dirty (used earpplugs, condoms, mould and the like) and the rooms were really small and hot. Beds are cheap but the hostel is quite far away from the city centre so you have to spent more on the tube anyway. Wouldn't stay there again! more

My husband and I stayed at London Backpackers for 2 nights. It was very close to the tube station and about a 10-15 minute ride in to London. The surrounding area was fine.
