This flat is located in the heart of old London. The history in the area is amazing. There are several good restaurants and pubs within a very close walking distance.

The flat itself is very charming, complete with creaking floors! There is a fully-equipped kitchen (sans microwave), but has everything else you need. There are two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms in the flat we stayed in. The shower pressure was pure heaven!

There is no telephone and no TV. Having a cell phone, no telephone didn't matter. I did miss not having a TV as I like to catch up on the day's news, esp. in the evenings.

This is a great place for anyone. There are 2 tube stops fairly close by, and it's easy to catch a taxi around there, especially on Aldersgate. But we loved it! Lots of privacy, a nice fire in the evening, and all the comforts you can imagine. EXCEPT -- no phone, no TV, no microwave. But we didn't miss any of that. We had our cell phones, and we didn't have time to worry about TV. The fully equipped kitchen makes a microwave unnecessary. The cost? A little over 100 pounds a night, although we planned for the low-cost off season, and prices are higher at other times of the year. Compared to the price of a small room in a London hotel, this is a real...
