Our room was large & clean & had a view over the park, but the bathroom was tiny & the shower had very little water pressure & was, at its hottest lukewarm!. Blackheath village was lovely & has some really nice cafes & shops & a nice farmers market on Sunday

I booked this hotel thinking as it was a large hotel would have ample parking. How wrong was I?. the car park probably hods 50 cars but was full of coaches and the only car parking available was 'on street'. i would not recommend this hotel if like me was staying on a saturday night. I had to park half... More

As a treat we my work colleages and myself went to this Hotel for afternoon tea. It was very welcoming and the 'little tea party' which consisted of cakes, scones and little sandwiches was very nice. We were served tea of all types and the waitress was both friendly, helpful and remembered all the tea orders etc without having to write... More

Dear Grandma648 it is nice to receive a review, other than regaurding accommodation. We are very please you enjoyed your afternoon tea at the hotel. This is something we started over a year ago in our Goffers Lounge overlooking the heath, and has proved very popular. We cost the cost sensible at £12.90 (standard) and £16.50 (sparkling), as I know... More

We arrived on a Friday. Check in was quick and easy. The room was small - ground floor and rear facing, away from the traffic. Saturday morning, (after a big night in the city), we recived 3 morning calls from the chambermaid!! We did not want to get up!!! Sunday morning , (with no alcohool inside us) we were woken... More

Dear Rachael thank you for your review. No alcohol and being woken up is not fair. I belive the doors closing was a large group of guest departing early at the same time.(very sorry) I would imagine you mean the maid knocked for you 3 times. Not sure if you had the 'do not distrub' sign up or not -... More

The quadriple room, on our four nite, stay was fabulous. The room had a nice layout, clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good with good selection. The staff very friendly and helpful, the hotel is central located which makes shopping easy, with good restaurants few minutes away and central Greenwich within walking distance. Would surely recommend it to... More

From the outside you think, Great looking hotel, lovely setting on the heath, this should be a great experience 'WRONG!!' The room we stayed in 128 was very small, very poky, extremely old fashioned, a definate need of an up date. The place lacked personality and had an unfriendly vibe to it. Breakfast was an nightmare, 30 minute wait, with... More

Dear A dawn Thank you for your review, I am very sorry there was a wait on the date you stayed, Pink was in town at the O2, and the hotel was very busy. This was not a great experience. The bedrooms are tired, in need of refurbishment. For example the curtains have faded and are threadbare and the wardrobe door was hanging off it's hinges. The room was spacious which leaves me wondering why such a small wardrobe was provided and why the bath was so small an adult could barely sit in... More

Stayed at this hotel for two nights because I was going to a funeral in the Chapel of nearby Morden College on Wednesday, 24th April.
