After having stayed at Imperial College's Beit and Southside Halls, we were quite surprised at the downtrodden state of Garden Hall, located on the north side of the park, directly across from Southside Hall and next door to Ethos, the sport's facility. To top it off, we paid just 6 pounds more per night to stay at the sparkling clean... more

Firstly, the accommodation offered here is in a great location, being a short walk from South Kensington. I had booked because of the price and good previous reviews and wasn't disappointed. The staff on check-in were polite and helpful, giving advice about local shops etc. When I arrived at the room, it was what I had expected, with the exception... more

My 2 daughters & I spent 3 nights in the Prince's Gardens "dormitory" in South Kensington. Can't beat the location, one block from Hyde Park/Kennsington Gardens, Royal Albert Hall, Albert Memorial and bus routes on Kensington Road. Two-3 blocks from Victoria & Albert, Science and Natural History Museums. Another block to S. Kensington tube station. One tube stop from Victoria... more

I tried to book a room at Beit Hall but for whatever reason my request was not immediately processed and it was fully booked. The Notting Hill Gate dorm was suggested and I was told it was a similar facility. I can assure you that this is NOT the case. The rooms in NH are disgusting, dingy, musty, nasty, tiny... more

Imperial College's Pembridge Gardens accomodation (in Notting Hill) is a tired, run down, grotty residence and Imperial College ought to be embarrassed to be letting these rooms to tourists and smearing its high standards and reputation by doing so. I have backpacked in many third world countries so am used to quite a range of accomodation standards: but even at... more

Our family of four (kids 7, 9) spent 5 excellent nights at Beit Hall, South Kensington campus. The location was great - close to museums, ideal bus transportation, and especially Hyde Park. We spent a lot of time in Hyde Park letting the kids play. The rooms were plain but clean and the price was excellent. The full breakfast kept... more

I stayed in the dorm at Strathclyde University in Glasgow and it was a great deal -- a fairly bleak old dorm and totally impersonal, but dirt cheap, safe, good breakfast. I was looking forward to staying at Imperial College Accommodations. But it's no longer so cheap. They've spiffed up the place (most rooms now have ensuite bathrooms rather than... more

I'm sure that you will not find a better accomodation in London at such a low price! The staff is very nice, helpfull and polite, every complaint (if any!) is dealt with immediately. The rooms are of sufficient size and in best condition. And the breakfast is excellent! I'll stay there again! more

Clean, comfortable, roomy and safe accomodation near Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. London is a pricey city, but the accomodations were reasonably priced and included a hearty cafeteria style breakfast. Will stay here again if in England in the summertime. more

As the other reviews have said, this is simply the best value accommodation in London. It is super cheap by London standards and in the best location. You are close to the Tube and three of the best museums in London. You are also close to the parks for running and the High Street Kensington shops are just five minutes... more
