I lived in this hotel for over 3 months. It is absolutely disgusting. I feared for my safety several times and had the cleaning staff steal from my room. If you have the ability to stay somewhere else, do so! more

Worst hostel ever slept in. It's just seedy and grungy. Nothing can be more dirty than it was. The bathroom was so filthy that I felt less clean after having my shower than before... AVOID IT or sleep in the street. more

This place is only alright. If I were to go to London I would not stay there again though. The rooms are basic, but fairly clean. Our room was a double ensuite but it was very small and very hot (windows would only open a fraction). All the rooms are fairly old fashioned and in bad need of a bit... more

I went there for new year's holidays.. and I stay in a double room. The price was very cheap.. .. the hotel is in a good location, just minutes walking to metro station.. the receptionists are very friendly and helpful. the bad point are that we had the room at the second floor and there wasn't elevator. In addition my... more

Stayed there for a couple of nights. It was nothing special, room size was ok, but not enough lockers. Beds were ok. Staff was very friendly, which is a huge plus!!!! Kitchen....they had one, but we mostly ate out. They also have a bar, where all the travellers get together to party, fun place. All in all, if you're planning... more

Wake Up London is a dive. Seriously, the staff are rude, the rooms are dreadful and the facilities are third world. There is one power point in our dorm room. Go figure. There is hardly ever more than one set of keys for our room (and there's four or five people in it at any one time). The internet machines... more

If ever visiting London again I would stay here again. Sure, there are some problems but on the whole the price and location was pretty good. I was also there when the hot water dropped out. Thankfully I was told by one of the staff about the showers that still worked on day two of the outage. The fact that... more

I had planned to stay at Wake Up London for 4 days before continuing my travels but I had such a great time I ended up extending my stay by 3 weeks. The staff are exceptional and will go out of their way to help you with any queries. The basement bar was full of great guys & girls from... more

I spent here 2 weeks two times. there were two thefts in my bedroom. I think i ve been stolen 50 £ during the night. I felt unsafe and i decided to leave. There are lots of water leaks and condensation in showers. there is always loud music in the common rooms. There are people in the staff who pick... more

I definitely would not recommend this hostel to others. Five days out of the six we were there, there was no hot water, except for in approximately four showers (bear in mind the hostel has a capacity of five hundred people). Given that generally what you want out of a hostel is a bed and a hot shower, that's pretty... more
