This is a great place to stay if you are in London during the summer months and are looking for a brilliant location for a very low price. The rooms are not at all fancy and most of them have shared facilities (bathroom, toilet, kitchen). The rooms do have wahbasins. The rooms and facilities are clean, the only problems are... more

I have just come back from London and my accomodation was this one. Well... it's cleaner than other hostels... but the building need to be renewed... as well as the window of the room where I slept. Not too bad... 'cause it's very cheap and in a very, very good position, just few minutes walking from Buckingham Palace and from... more

This is a review concerning a one bedroom flat at Wigram House. I was very anxious about what would look like Wigram House. At the time I reserved, there wasn’t many reviews on Tripadvisor, only 3 and no traveller pictures. All those reviews were about student rooms. But what interested me was that there is 2 flats in the building... more

You really can't beat Wigram House's location -- it's on a beautiful and quiet residential street, but only a block away from shopping and restaurants, and only a few blocks away from Victoria Station (a main underground station) and St. James's Park. It's also within easy walking distance of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben/the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, etc.... more

Room tiny and not very welcoming, but sheets were clean, and bathroom, although shared, was clean as well, which I was surpised to see. However my negative experience was the noise in... more

this hotel location is excellent. our first day we visited westminster, trafalgar, covent garden without using public transport but always walking; but the area is well connected with lot of buses and victoria station. nice sourroundings with victorian houses and the beautiful westminster cathedral. the hotel is very simple but clean, with friendly and unformal staff. our room was really... more

This is a hostel with no atmosphere. None of the usual camaraderie with fellow travellers, no cupboards to share the food or travel guides you're abandoning when you leave, no warmth or personality at all. The showers are adequate, if they work; the kitchen's stocked with the barest minimum of cutlery; the rooms are small (it is a nice touch... more

Wigram House is a hall of residence that the University of Westminster opens up for travellers during the univesity summer holidays. The university is marketing their halls of residence as good inexpensive accomodation in several publications. Since I have done a fair bit of hostelling over the years and have also lived in university dorms I thought I would give... more
