It's not fancy, but for a clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price, the Jesmond can't be beat. I stayed here for 6 nights in a single room and was very pleased with the service and the made-to-order breakfasts. The proximity to the underground and rail stations is also a big plus and there is good access to shops and... More

I just come back from yet another trip to London and yet another stay at this lovely hotel. We stayed in the same room as last year, nr.17 in the basement and we were as pleased as last time. The staff is excellent, the breakfast is good and the location is next to perfect. If it is luxury you want... More

The location was key with this B&B. I was attending a course at the University of London and the Jesmond was less than five minutes walk away. It also makes it ideal for the short walk from Euston station, the British Museum and Oxford Street. Goodge Street station was within spitting distance too. All in all, a fab location. After... More

This was the third time I stayed here, and I'm pleased to say that Glyn and the team were as great as ever, and the visit was still very comfortable. I hope the fact that I'm a repeat visitor is evidence enough that I can really recommend the Jesmond highly!

A great gem of a B&B in the centre of London. 5 minutes walk from the tube and the British Museum, Very friendly and helpful staff and good value for central London. Would have been good to have some breakfast available for those travellers having to leave early, fruit or cereal. A very good stay, peaceful room of a good... More

I read the reviews before booking this place and I was completely satisfied. We stayed in 4 other places during our 2 country visit and this was our favorite by far. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Since London is such a walkable city this place was close to the bus and tube... More

I found the Jesmond through an online search with a few others in the same area - and I couldn't have been happier with this little gem of a B&B hotel. The location was excellent, very close to several tube stops and about 2 minutes from the British Museum and Oxford Street shopping! The hotel is very clean and well... More

I found the Jesmond via a budget guide book, and their website won me over. Upon arriving, I felt like I was home. Pros: It's very central - 1.5-2 miles from the center and most everything that we wanted to do; close to several tube stops and bus stops; the breakfast was yummy; the owner and workers are all extremely...
