Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very helpful and friendly staff helped went above and beyond for me! Had an issue with the booking system (not their fault) and they were able to completely sort it out for me straight away! Ten out of ten would recommend as convenient stay in a great place

To start off with when I arrived at the hotel in one corner of the car park. I noticed Old beds, bits of wardrobe glass windows. It just didn’t look very nice glass bottles on the floor smashed then we entered reception to where we was greeted by a very friendly man on reception also in reception was a big table with about 10 young adults all on laptops there was also two security men sat at the side of the door. I think the hotel was quite full on one side was the apartment where we stayed where you had to have a separate key to get in that side of the hotel as well as a key for your door on the other side of the hotel I think maybe people who needed temporary housing there was a lot of children playing football in the car park. I noticed the ball bouncing off some of the cars. I’m just glad I’ve parked my car elsewhere for the room, it was clean when we got in there all the windows were open and it was freezing so we shut them straight away. The radiators worked sometimes then didn’t and at night because the windows were that old and didn’t seal properly you could hear all the traffic all night long which kept my daughter awake all night more or less would definitely not stay there again, knowing what I know now

Good location in Central London. Friendly and helpful staff and well equipped clean rooms. A little noisy from the streets as windows are old and didn’t close properly. No air condition which would be nice in hot summer. We stayed in a family apartment and enjoyed our 7 days stay.

Rooms were clean and spacious. We have 2 teenage children who need separate bedrooms, so was ideal for us. Kitchen with all amenities. We were there for a couple of nights and the towels were changed daily. Didn’t get any noise disturbance from neighbouring apartments. Could faintly hear the street noise, but not enough to bother us. Location 10 min walk from Paddington Station. The 2 streets that the apartments are between have Ask Italian restaurant, Bella Italia, McDonald’s etc. Car parking on sight, although it was booked in advance to secure a parking space. We would definitely use these apartments again if we stay in London another time.

I wanted to write a review as many were negative. We booked via Amex and had a lovely suite 506 which was very nice and clean. Yes the room was a bit hot, so we opened the window, plus it had a fan if needed. We stayed here for one night, but would of happily stayed here for longer. The kitchen area was nice and had all the essentials. The bathroom was nice and the shower area was big and water very hot. I would say some areas needed a bit of a touch up, but it didn’t bother us.

Book the apartments because of location stayed in room 508 room was clean and large the bed comfortable and shower worked well The negatives were the window didn’t close as it was broken and the radiator wasn’t working only half of it was warm This made us cold we were given blankets to keep warm in the room, was given the opportunity to move rooms the following day, this room was worse than ours so we just made do and we used the curtains to block the draft from the window There were insects that come up through the drain at night in the bathroom so we had to cover the drain with the bin we killed many In the main lobby it looked like a school classroom with many sat round a big table on laptops and what looked like students studying The apartments are very tiered it wasn’t bad enough to move hotels but I definitely wouldn’t go back

I've just returned home from an overnight stay in London at Aspen Apartments. Me and 3 friends stayed the night in a family apartment 511. We had some issues with the room which we felt were unacceptable and we are very dissatisfied with our stay. 1. Bathroom door frame falling off (please see attached picture) 2. Plug socket falling off the wall. It's a surprise that a guest has not been electrocuted. This is highly unsafe considering this is a family apartment. If a child had put their hand in the open socket you'd have a law suit on your hands as well as a potential fatality (please see picture attached) 3. Water leaking from electric plug. Is there a water leak which could be going into the plug socket?? This is also highly unsafe and can blow the socket. (Please see picture attached) 4. Dirty skirting boards. Lack of Attention to cleaning detail? In the current pandemic you should be reassuring your guests that your rooms are highly cleansed (please see picture attached) 5. The fire alarm went off twice during our stay. I hope you can take my above points into consideration and advise me on how you can. I have also emailed this.

We have stayed here many times in the past. We stay in the Apartments, and this stay was as good as any of our past stays. But something is happening in the lobby and maybe the hotel portion of the facility. The staff were very evasive of what was happening. The entire lobby had tables set up with various people manning them. Lots of information available to people, and they had a security guard. If it was part of a social assistance, I applaud them. But I think it would be nice to let the people staying there what was happening. The entrance off London Street was also closed. Both the door into the building and the gates into their parking lot.

Stayed in the lower ground floor apartment. The main bedroom was acceptable but the third bed, a single would have been more suited to a skip than for a lerson to sleep on. Breakfast was uninspiring cold and stale coissants with slices of presumably cheese and ham. I booked looking forward to the Brazilian style bar at the end of a long day sightseeing only to find it had closed down....duped!
