I needed somewhere really close to Kings College Hospital as my husband had to stay in hospital for a few days, I searched so many web sites looking for something as close and clean as possible. I liked the look of the Church Street Hotels website and went for it. Well Im so glad I did, being a very nervous... more

I have stayed at Church Street several times, most often when working near Waterloo and I also found it a good base for family to explore London. Camberwell isn't the most obvious place to stay, but the hotel is great - beautifully-decorated rooms in a mexican/venice beach/americana style; free wifi, fabulous breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice, hot coffee and... more

I want to avoid being cliched, but there's no other way of saying this...this hotel really is a fantatsic undiscovered little gem, - if only I could afford to live here permanently, i'd rent an entire suite of rooms!. I'm a great fan of things Cubana/o/Mexicano, and so this hotel really ticked all my boxes. Last year, I had the... more

With a former background in tourism/hospitality,and also being born and bred in South London, having learned of the existence of the hotel, I was intrigued and keen to try it out, eager to be pleased. Pleased I was! Within 10 minutes of Jose having left me to settle in after showing me how to work the DVD, and ensuring that... more

We stayed at the Church Street Hotel Oct07 and both agreed this was the perfect hotel to relax and feel like you were looked after without being pestered, decor is cool and the room was perfect with a great atmosphere. It will be the first place we will book if going back in to London Cheers Guys Jamie and Karen more

Really loved the style of this hotel. South American Catholic. Rather like something from Madonna's "Like a prayer" video. Rooms are small but perfectly formed and brilliantly styled. Web site is a perfect presentaion of the hotel. There is also an honesty bar in the hotel so you can get a beer whenever. Breakfast was simple but good. This hotel... more

Magnificent - rooms are small and delightful and well thought out - we stayed in the red one! Breakfast was at our leisure and sat at refectory tables munching fresh croissants, drinking freshly brewed coffee, checking out the dvds to borrow and chilling out on a Sunday morning was a welcome relief from hectic week. Rates were very reasonable, staff... more

I stayed here for one night in August - having booked the hotel through it's beautiful website i had high expectations... The hotel is really quite a trek from the nearest tube, especially if you had lots of bags like us. You could get the bus from the tube (but when i called they didn't know where the stop was)... more

My daughter recommended the Church Street Hotel as 'a place you'd like, mum' on the occasion of her wedding in nearby Dulwich. Upon checking out the beautifully designed website, I was pretty sure she was right. We had a slightly complicated set of arrangements involving husbands, boyfriends, sisters and friends arriving and departing at different times, all of which were... more
