Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My double room had an en-suite bath/shower, with tv, radio, coffee making facilities, Iron, ironing board and hangers in the double wardrobe. Aircon and hearings The bed was extremely comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was delicious, with an amazing choice. Staff polite and friendly. Would recommend this hotel..

All we could see as we walked in our double bedroom was paint stripped wood around the window, curtains not hung properly and they were far too short. But worse of all was the disgusting smell which seemed to be coming mainly from the bathroom. We didn't complain to reception as we felt that we would only be moved. The room was cheap too but we've stayed in similarly priced rooms before. Thankfully the location was excellent for the Exhibition.

I booked through Hotels.com which said it was B&B, it even says it here on Trip advisor, however, when I asked about breakfast when I checked in they said they no longer did breakfast and had updated the booking sites but the sites themselves hadn't been updated. The hotel itself was good for what I needed, a base in Kensington. The room was very clean, I was pleasantly surprised by having a fridge, microwave, sink and kettle in the bedroom itself. It was a bit small, but for a solo traveller that didn't matter to me at all. 15 minute walk to Kensington High Street, bus stop right outside, local shop and Chinese Takeway just down the road. If I needed to stay in that location again I would consider rebooking.

Great location 5 mins from Shepherds Bush station. We booked in 5 mins early which was no problem. Staff pleasant and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small but shower was fab. Our room was at the front facing the main road but we did not hear a thing once the window was closed.. Fridge, microwave and kettle in the room although we did not use them. Stayed just the one night but would be happy to stay in the future.

When you expect a 3 stars like mentioned on booking or trip advisor, that was a big mistake! Those pictures taken don’t lie. The service was really bad, the room was not cleaned from the bed sheets and the mold were all over the bathroom and walls. We asked the soaps and new towels at the reception and all we got was « you put the sign do not disturb all day, so we couldn’t clean or give new soaps ». The problem was when we asked, the man at the reception maybe the owner could have given us without any problems like all 3 stars hotels do, that is called customer service, but this man was really rude and made this a big deal. Our stay was the worst part of the trip. Please consider reading all comments next time before booking even it’s a 3star or it has some positive comments, don’t get fooled from their nice pictures and 3 stars hotel!

We visited for my mums birthday so we could take her to the Royal Albert Hall to enjoy some classical music. However despite this being London it still wasn’t the best experience. We booked a room for 3 and received a very small pokey little room, there was no space for clothes, we only received 3 coat hangars, no space for us. The breakfast part is subpar, there was minimal choice of cheese, bread, coffee, basic things that were the same everyday. However the bathroom was alright and for a night or two it was fine.

The best feature of this hotel in the location and the 24 hour front desk personnel. The room was ridiculously small, curtains old and barely on the curtain rod track, room lights so dim I couldn’t even read a magazine in the “darkness”. Bread, cereal and coffee in the breakfast room was a plus, and I suppose for the affordable rate, you get what you pay for. In all fairness, this was a last minute booking to attend a funeral in Watford, and being able to walk to the Shepherds Bush station was very convenient.

Clearly false. Stayed there recently was a dreadful experience. Not worth the dirt, grime and insecurity. ground floor window had no locks, room was dirty, lamp shades broken, radiator would NOT turn off so room was a sauna. Couldn't keep window open even if I chanced the fact of any stranger crawling in during the night because the old rotten sash and case windows with no cords. Honestly for the love of god do not stay here. This place should be reported to trading standards if it hasn't already.

Very nice hotel, extremely friendly manager who looked after my friend and I. Hotel room was spotless, and well catered with tea and coffee supplies. Very quiet too considering it's on a busy road. Will definitely book again next time I need to stay overnight in London.
