On the plus side: friendly staff, free wifi and free parking nearish by. However the cons outweigh the pros. Expensive. No close tube stops. Inadequate parking drop off at the front. Automated entry system made me feel unwelcome and like i was entering a prison. No cooked breakfast despite the cost.

I have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel! First off - having the room keys dispensed by an anonymous machine and once in the room threatening notices everywhere - £75 charge to your credit card for every rule you break. There was a strong smell of damp from the shower, flies in the room, window blind broken, kettle near... More

We just stayed one night. The room was up three flights of stairs. The electrics are problematic . No lights at all in our bathroom, which had no window. We were kindly offered use of the bathroom in the room above, in the attic (very very steep steps), which was ok, but not so convenient! Also one bedside light didn't... More

The staff were the only good thing about the hotel. Weird key system; lights don't work; showers awful/no pressure/cold; very small rooms; tv doesn't work; basin leaked. Owner lives in Brighton and can't be bothered to address problems.

I stayed here with my husband for one night only on 21 February 2013 and I can honestly say, this has been my worst experience in a B&B to date. The website is very misleading which I have noticed other reviewers have commented on. I was expecting a boutique-type B&B and what I got was more like a hostel-type accommodation.... More

Misleading from the start! It is, as someone else suggested, a doorway in a parade of shops. No reception, just a machine that gives you a key and tells you your room number. We were Room 11 right up in the attic. The door to our room is at the bottom of a flight of stairs and we discovered that... More

The hotel's website is very misleading. When we arrived we did not see a person to greet us but had to use a machine to get our key. The room was cosy enough but freezing cold. The booklet said if you had a problem simply call using intercom to speak to manager. Manager answered and told us to turn heating... More

My partner and I booked this B & B along with three other couples, for 8th Dec 12. We arrived out side the 'hote'l expecting somewhere to pull up to unload the car, as advertised. There is no such facility. It is a 'doorway' on a parade of shops. As lots of the reviews have stated there are no staff... More

I wish I had read all the other reviews before I'd booked this hotel. On arriving, after 10 minutes or so, I discovered the self check in system. Not something that is advised on booking and had it been I definitely would not have booked. Its totally impersonal and the website describes this place as cosy but it is far... More
