Location is out of town, has a decent pub next door and plenty of parking with CCTV - which you should try to park under as there was a car broken in to next to the pub. Checking in was an epic! 1st they couldn't find the reservation, when they did we were given a keycard which let us into... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night, welcomed on arrival. Nice staff very friendly. We had a family room - quite spacious nice and clean. It ticked all the boxes for a nice room. Bathroom only had a shower - but that was all we wanted - plenty of pressure and nice complementary shower gel. We thoroughly enjoyed our... more

I stayed in this hotel for a week with a friend. The hotel is not located centrally so you will need to take a bus or your car to go to the town center. The rooms were clean in an acceptable level but not as clean as you would like them to be. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was... more

Room ok although furnished like a student hall of residence. Bathroom only had a shower which was fine and continental breakfast was adequate. The location was convenient for my business meetings. However, bedroom walls were very thin and therefore you can hear everything going on in the adjoining rooms. It was a bonus to have Sky channels in this type... more

Not bad at all for a business visit. Very clean, nice reception staff and comfortable rooms. Free continental breakfast OK. Good car parking, restaurant on site. No baths only showers a bit poor, pay films in rooms if you want £9.95 a bit steep. more

Stayed for one night in August. Had no problems. £50 for myself, my wife and 18 year old son plus free breakfasts. Can't complain at that! Rooms were spotless, breakfasts were OK, self service cereals, fruit juice, tea, coffee, croisants etc. Secure car park with a guard. We left the car and got a bus into the centre and back... more

Have stayed at this hotel many times and always stay here if we are in the area. The rooms are clean, bathroom clean. Breakfast is complimentary and well stocked. Staff friendly and very helpful. nothing seemed too much trouble. Very well located for James Cook University Hospital...(just over the road). Only thing I would change...softer more comfortable mattresses. Also fresh... more

After reading reviews, i have to say I was more than a little worried about staying here. We simply needed a cheap hotel for the night, as my partner was racing nearby the next day. however the stay was fantastic! The room was extremely clean, and everthing looked brand new, even though it was a smoking room. The bathroom was... more
