Being a South African, I was at home the moment I heard Olga's accent and saw the familiar decor. My husband and I had a wonderful stay there and it gave me an opportunity to talk about SA and discover that my brother and Olga's son went to the same school in East London. Our room was five star and... More

This was our second visit and I would not consider staying anywhere else in Norwich. Maurice and Olga are the perfect hosts. I cannot express too highly how much I rate this place: Individually decorated, spotless rooms, wonderful breakfasts with lots of choice and on a regular bus route with very late buses (because of the university.) . Quiet despite... More

Although I didn't get to meet Maurice & Olga who were away on family business, their caretaker couple (Nigel and Barbara) were welcoming, helpful, friendly and efficient - I was really pleased to have met them. My room was quiet, furnished and decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean, with tv, hairdryer, magazines, tea/coffee, biscuits (and chocolates!) and loads... More

I can only mirror the comments below, this is a fabulous B&B and Maurice and Olga are wonderful hosts. We had room number one, which was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want, tea/coffee making facilities (inc. biscuits), soaps, shower cream, shampoo, conditioner, shaving kit etc. etc. the list goes on. Breakfast is an absolute delight, choices of... More

We certainly felt this a wow little bed and breakfast. Warmly greeted by two charming people who have travelled extensively. Our room was a delight. Four poster bed settee what a pleasure to come back to after a day out. Our room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Had all amenties you needed from toiletries to tea coffee making facilities. Bed... Had a wonderful weekend stay at Arrandale Lodge. Breakfast was great and Olga and Maurice were the perfect hosts, so warm and welcoming. The Lodge is with easy walking distance of the city centre. We visited the market and cathedral and had a fabulous meal at The Reindeer pub.

I stayed at Arrandale Lodge when in Norwich for a conference, and I was really delighted with the room: spotlessly clean, with a nice African touch in decorations, and a big bathroom with a bathrobe. Good breakfeast as well. I stayed for 3 nights and can really recommend this B&B. It's 15 minutes walk from the University of East Anglia,... More

We stayed here some 5 years ago or so as the B&B is close to family based nearby...we were very pleased back then and were hoping that we would enjoy the same experience in returning to Arrandale last week. We were not disspointed! Olga and Maurice provide a lovely and cosy B&B (nothing flash) with rooms which are very pleasant... More

After being recommended to another nearby hotel by a friend, less than a minute of research convinced me to look elsewhere. I found Arrandale Lodge near to where I wanted to stay- read a couple of good reviews and decided to give it a try. I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision. I was greeted by Maurice with... More

Arrandale lodge is a wonderful place to stay. Me and my partner have had the pleasure to stay there three times and each time the reception has been warm and inviting, the rooms spectacular and the breakfasts wonderful!
