A bit late to post this review but here goes anyway. What a find. Nothing was too much trouble I was here for two nights to attend a friends wedding in October 2012 Breakfasts. were great and i suspect no problem for vegans the place was so easy to get to from the city. I came via train. & used... More

Last weekend I was lucky enough to book the clean, light and spacious room and ensuite bathroom at the front of the house which offered peace and quiet, great comfort and numerous little touches that show careful attention to detail: fresh milk, ethically sourced toiletries, a magnifying mirror, lots of storage space, fresh flowers. Yummy breakfasts, and I'm not a... More

I am sure you won't have any reservations about booking here due to the quality of the other reviewers' experiences, but I wanted to add my comments and to thanks Ian for a lovely weekend. The B&B was well located for driving in/buses to town (approx. 15 mins by bus, less by car) with handy parking right outside. The rooms... More

Hello Ben and Helen I am really pleased that in spite of the weather you had an excellent break in Norwich. I particularly appreciate your comments about breakfast as everything is as ayou say and a key factor in making number 15 a bit different! I hope to see you both again. Ian More

We stayed for three nights over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Comfy bed, nice room, great veggie breakfast and sunshine. What more could we ask! Highly recommended for all vegetarians looking for an excellent weekend away or even longer! Also alternative therapies offered which we didn’t try but am sure they would also be excellent.

Thank you Hilary and Les for your positive review, you were certainly fortunate with the weather. It is always good to please vegetarians, I think that we deserve a few more 100% vegetarian venues, Pulse in Norwich has just closed so there is only River Green, The Nectar and number 15 in the city. I hope to see you again.... More

I stayed for one night during the Norwich and Norfolk festival and was very impressed by No. 15 and Ian's hospitality. As a keen environmentalist I was particularly impressed by the green credentials - it was great to see so many and such commitment. The breakfast was also delicious - one of the best!

Thanks John, your positive comments about my ethics are much appreciated as you work for a green organisation. I am pleased that you enjoyed the Festival concert and hope that the walking on Skye went well. Ian More

My experience of Ian's hospitality and attention to every detail of excellence made my recent trip to Norwich over the Norwich Festival so comfortable and relaxing. Ian's breakfasts are enjoyed in a relaxing dining room that has many interesting paintings and curios as well as the Norwich Tourist information. The breakfasts are superbly cooked and presented with a wide choice... More

Hello Mary, so nice of you to take the time to write me such a positive review. You certainly crammed a lot into your stay in Norwich and picked some excellent elements of the Festival. Whatever the time of year Norwich always seems to have lots on offer, I hope to see you again before too long, in the meantime... More

we just stayed here for 3 nights and it's a really great B&B. It's like being welcomed into a friend's house but the host is very sensitive to just what and how much interaction you have with him. The breakfasts are exquisite and minutely tailored to individual preferences and served in a lovely room where all details have been thought... More

Hello Tyra, so nice of you to give me such a lovely review, it was a pleasure having you and your friends to stay. Norfolk must be such a contrast to your moorland home. I hope that your plans work out and you can get back for another break in Norfolk. Ian More

The location was perfect for seeing old friends in the golden triangle and getting into town on a weekend that coincided with the Norfolk and Norwich festival. Also there aren't many places that meet my high standards for scrambled eggs but Ian met and surpassed them!! A wonderful stay, will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area.

You picked a good time for your return to Norwich Richard, I am pleased that you had a good time . A scrambled egg review is particularly welcome, good eggs are important as is the short time in the pan, I have experienced "scrambled" eggs that spent 5 minutes in the pan at a somerset B&B, the breakfast should be... This b&b offers the best breakfast I've had. Healthy, full English and more, and delicious. The porridge is especially good. Comfortable, clean rooms. Lovely location; easy walk into town, but quiet. Ian is an excellent host; friendly and helpful.

Good to hear that you enjoyed your stay, some guests do really enjoy having a massage or some Bowen and are then able to relax without having to travel back from a therapists. I also appreciate your comments about the breakfasts as most people are delighted by what is on offer even though there is no meat! Finally thank you... More
