Dunston Hall is in a lovely location just on the outskirts of Norwich. It is situated in lovely grounds. The rooms are very typical of the larger groups - well furnished, comfortable and clean. However, found them to be a little soulless. We had dinner in the hotel which was good quality and the staff in all areas of the... more

Just returned from a one night stay. The hotel was doing a special offer for the Easter period and the room rates were around half the usual price. We took advantage of this and booked a suite. The room was large, clean and comfortable. the bathroom was very large and spotless. We had beautiful views over the terrace and over... more

Beautiful looking hotel, in fantastic grounds. Met with a cocktail as we checked in which was a lovely touch. Staff on Reception really friendly. Room was pleasant and we had a small patio area so were able to take advantage of the afternoon sun. Leisure area really nice, loved the fairy lights in the steam room. We were booked in... more

OK - So this is the first review of a UK hotel I've made - What a great location - so near to Norwich city centre, yet right in the country - What a beautiful setting - you can see why so many choose this as an ideal location for a wedding ceremony! What makes this hotel so good (a... more

Really nice location - long sweeping drive leading up to the hotel. Greenery all around you - unfortunately though, if you want to go on long walks through the grounds you can't because it is one big golf course !! Asked at Reception for any "designated walks" but there was only one! Had a really nice room, but for a... more

We stayed for Sunday night DBB in a Deluxe Double and selected the carvery for dinner. Abysmal and sparse selection of tired starters, mainly tinned. The roast meats were accompanied by strange tasting soggy (fresh or tinned??) carrots, frozen sweetcorn, plastic tasting red cabbage, pre-prepared 'odd' tasting roast potatoes etc. and msg gravy. All in all a recipe for a... more

I will keep it brief. Impressive property, public areas well furnished and inviting. Rooms small, unbearably hot, no air con and window only opens an inch. Fridge/minibar not stocked and didnt work, extractor fan in bathroom extremely noisey. Rack rate is laughable - its worth about £85 a night, rack rate is double that. Good breakfast. Price of drinks absolutely... more

We stayed here after a birthday party at the hotel, for two nights. We were upgraded to a de-luxe room, which was roomy and had a very large comfortable bed. However, the room was very cold and the A/C did not work the first night and the housekeeping staff said this was because another guest in another room had complained... more

We were here for a wedding, so got a discounted rate of £130. We felt that was expensive, so no way would we have wanted to pay the rack rate of £170! Hotel itself (grounds etc) not bad but I think the room amenities let it down. Despite booking some 2 months before, asking for adjoining rooms, we were allocated... more
