I cannot believe the high standard given in these reviews. There was dust in our room and black mould adjacent to the shower. We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening meal 6.30.We went down at 6.20pm was given a warm welcome and handed a menu we then sat at a table in the bar to study the menu.No one... more

I had read the reviews on this and other websites and on the whole they were all very good so it was safe to say my expectations were reasonably high. I'm pleased to say I wasn't disappointed. It is a very homely hotel with a lovely feel to it, my girlfriend and I stayed here for one night over the... more

Arrived 10:30PM from Gatwick to find the kitchen closed. As soon as the staff heard this they insisted in opening up the kitchen and made us an excellent meal (really recommend the steak and ale pie!) with a few drinks. Our room was nice and clean with a view of the river, and we found all the staff super helpful... more

Stayed at the hotel at the end of April with some work colleagues and overall quite impressed by what i found. Attractive lounge and bar areas made even better by friendly staff who tried to help on all occasions. The restaurant was pleasant enough given the hotels ratings as was the standard of room. The room was clean and came... more

Room basic, with lot sof creaks from neighbouring rooms. Food pub grub, but okay. Main restaurant not open. Not up to the value of others in the area. Their business focus is obviously the pub and food trade for the passing boats on the waterways. We were out of season, and felt this. So forget it if you plan to... more

We stayed at this hotel in November 2006. We found the hotel to be clean and relaxed. The décor of the hotel probably appeals to older generations. We were slightly concerned regarding road noise as it is next to a busy road. However we had room 15, which seems to be the furthest from the road and we did not... more

We stayed here for a weekend in October. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were allocated a double room in error for the twin we had booked, but were changed to a twin as soon as we told reception of the error. The rooms (like the rest of the hotel) were immaculate with all that you could... more

My wife and I stayed at Wayford Bridge Hotel for 2 nights at the very end of September. To be fair we have stayed several times before so had a good idea what to expect, but this was our first visit this year. The welcome to this small family run hotel was as warm as ever and the reception procedures... more
