Disappointed needs a major update and over haul. Tired bedroom owners friendly but this is not enough. Hotel has potential but without a strategy change and cash injection will always remain below par and unfortunately would not recommend staying, Sorry Amber Lodge as we know you need positive feed back but you know things need to improve.

I enjoyed a comfortable clean room, a great dinner, superb breakfast and the nicest homely atmosphere anywhere - all for less than the price of room only in the miserable Travelodge nearby.The people of Acle and the surrounding villages need to use Amber Lodge for their birthdays, marriages, Sunday lunches and weekday treats - it's top notch!
