I stayed for one night at BW Annesley House, and the biggest problem was how noisy the hotel is. The hotel is just next to one of the main road leading to Norwich, so there is traffic noise day and night. None of the windows have double-glazing, which could probably make a big difference. All staff very friendly. The bedroom was quiet, despite being on a main road. The furniture/decoration in the room was rather dated, but there again it is an old hotel and the bed was comfortable. I was very satisfied with my weekend stay here. It's one of those old houses turned into a hotel so be prepared for some stairs. But the rooms are in good shape and all have bathrooms in suite.
