Just spent 2 nights at the Quality Inn Norwich (3miles outside) and it does make you wonder what people expect. We paid £99 B&B for 2 nights for 2 adults and 1 child. Bargain!! We were greeted by a very pleasant young lady and the checkin process was really easy and efficient. The foyer is quite smart neat and tidy... more

OK, it's my own fault, I should have read the above reviews before I booked. £89 for one night (double room) with breakfast, for this I expected a lot better than a very, very tired place on an industrial estate. Staff could not be bothered at all, receptionist was more interested in discussing her love life on the telephone than... more

If first impressions count, these were of a "tired" hotel in need of a refurbishment. Reception staff were helpful but slow in coming to greet me. Bed was older and more tired that I was and bathroom was very cheaply decorated - bit like a caravan really. Food at dinner was very disappointing - over-cooked and cold and the chef... more

After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried about what to expect to say the least! All I can say, however, is don't worry! I got a room rate of £49 per night B&B via the net - an absolute bargain and cheaper than the Travelodge & Premier Travel Inn's would quote me. I'm going to start... more

For those who think that the point of a hotel is simply a place containing a bed to close your eyes in, this hotel is for you. The room was large with two single beds, lots of desk space and a large television, which had a wide range of channels avaliable. The bathroom was dissapointing; not only was the decor... more

I booked through Laterooms for £50 bed and breakfast, and on arrival, they got off to a bad start by the sole receptionist ignoring me whilst she answered a series of phone calls. Then, despite requesting a non-smoking room, I was given a room at the furthest point on the upper floor which stunk of cigarette smoke. I carried both... more

Well i must say, i went on this site and read some reviews before i left, i was pleased to see that the most recent review was very encouraging and i went with high hopes which was met Clearly the hotel has had a lick of paint and a re-think (if there was ever anything wrong with it in the... more

Having seen some of the negative reviews, I'm not sure it can be the same place? Initial impressions were good with a large comfortable reception, lounge, bar, and restaurant area. The receptionist was very welcoming. OK, the decor isn't what I'd choose for home, but does seem to have been recently revamped. I didn't see any sign of threadbare carpets.... more

3 collegues and i stayed at this hotel whilst on a course we found the hotel in general comfotable although the menu at times was a little repetative (we stayed 4 nights) evening meal a little overpriced our only complaint would be the early wake up call at 4 one morning when the fire alarm sounded because a resident had... more

Ahh… the “Quality Hotel”. Doesn’t your heart sink when you hear your employer has booked you into the “Quality Hotel” to save £10? The hotel is conveniently located on an industrial estate, 300 yards from the crisp factory. Of course, you can’t use the word “quality” without an adjective. Something can be, for instance, of high quality – it’s a... more
