I went to the Old Brewery in 2004 with my girl friend, as it was advertised by Swallow Hotels / London and Edinburgh Inns as having Georgian Charm, a gym, a swimming pool and sauna. The old brewey House Hotel was an 18th century building with lots of superficial character which was sadly neglected by its curent management and staff. the food was plentiful but either cold or burnt, the service was never with a smile and staff were great at multitasking, especially the chef who at one breakfast seating was cooking bacon, hoovering the... more
