We have taken up the offer for 2 for 1 meals in the past and had a lovely meal and evening but the last visit left alot to be desired. The dessert was hardly edible and the coffee was nothing more than coloured water. Having asked for fresh coffees - the second offering was not much better and the staff... more

The website shows the hotel in an excellent light but in reality the hotel disappointed immediately. Arrival entrance and car park are actually at the rear of the property. Entrance would be difficult to define had it not been for the red carpet leading up the steps to the main entrance. Relatively long walk through covered, tiled room, up more... more

We visited the hotel for a 2 night mid-week break in early February as we wanted a relaxing break, but close enough to Norwich. Room lovely, beautiful four poster bed, nicely furnished, flat screen tv etc,... more

Room was pleasant - with comfortable bed - and more character than the normal business type hotel. However, what sets the place apart is (a) the food and (b) the staff.... more

My room was very quaint and served its purpose. I was visiting Norwich on business as I often do so I will... more

My wife and I stayed as I was in the area combining business with pleasure. The room was small but nicely furnished (although we did have to request a 2nd chair). The staff were all friendly and attentive. It was however the food that was the highlight. There is a seriously good chef at work here! The meal we had... more

After staying at Caistor Hall quite a few years ago, I had heard that it was now in new hands so was looking forward to my visit. When arriving i was greeting with the same building looking nice with many of its old features still remaining. The Gardens were beautiful and well maintained. One entering the building i was happily... more
