Stayed here for one night over a weekend in October. Checkin was very efficient - staff explained all facilities and breakfast times etc. Room was your basic Holiday Inn Express room and clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast served in the nice reception area downstairs with very moreish croissants and good Tchibo coffee! All in all a pleasant stay. more

A value for money basic hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Sure, parking is a bit of a problem with having to compete with the skating rink and ASDA, but there's no problem with unloading cases close to the entry. Cheap meals are available from the adjacent ASDA. Would certainly select this hotel on any future visit. more

I actually like HI Express, many people don't, but these hotels are simple, clean and you know what you are going to get. The location is some what out of town a bit but it is easy to find. I think next door there was a bowling alley, but I am not 100% sure.. or it was the sports village.... more
