A fine hotel just outside Settle within 5 minutes walk to centre and railway station. The staff and owners were very helpful, our booking and arrival was very late due to travel difficulties. Our room was average although the bathroom was good, the bed a little small for me personally as I am over 6 ft. The breakfast was excellent with...

So relaxing, friendly and welcoming.
Stayed for 1 night Friday 11th Nov 2011 in room 4. The decor is beautiful and goes very well with the building, I personally do not think it needs to be updated, i think it would look silly if it was to be modernised.
Arrived early and was told by a very friendly lady that...

Stayed over the weekend with travel offers. First impressions were of a very dated hotel. greeted by elderley gentleman who was nice enough to talk too but hardly the right image, (sweatshirt and jeans). Our room had a view of the fire escape and was up what I assume was the back stairs when the building was a manor house....

The food here is of a good standard. A delicous breakfast. They even make their own jams and marmalade.

Falcon Manor is certainly an imposing building. Driving up to the front door, you could almost expect to be met by a uniformed butler.
Sadly, any connection to a grand country house ends right there. Imposing as it is, The Falcon is really nothing more than a very large b and b.
Our room, although a little dull as it overlooked...

A twin room was plenty big room enough but as others have said, very dated. The bathroom suite being a lemon-yellow shade. The room and hotel was very clean however and the twin...

This hotel has a lot of potential, but is tired and in need of investment. We were staying in a double room - the bed was a small double and a larger one could have easily been fitted into the room, which would still have had plenty of space. I completely agree with other reviewers who have stated that this...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was large, had good countryside views, well decorated and furnished. Good bathroom and shower. The meals (Dinner and Breakfast) were all good. The hotel is full of character, which may not be to every ones taste. Shame that the guy on reception was not more welcoming - it would have...

I feel compelled to write a review after having returned from the Falcon Manor today after a one night stay. I have just read some previous reviews & am absolutely aghast at the utter rubbish some people write. I stay at the Falcon Manor with my Mum twice a year & have done for about the last 5 years. Even...
