Looks right, helpful service, pretty good value at just under £100 B&B. They have thought carefully about how they want the place to look and all told they've been pretty successful Sadly didn't get the chance to sample their evening meal as we ate elsewhere with friends. We'd stay here again.

They could not have done more for us. Ambience great. Breakfast great. Dinner a touch over-complex for us, but great wines. Rooms great. Back to the service, though, which was outstanding. Thank you Traddockites!

First impressions of tis hotel were on the whole good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean and the bed very comfortable, but once you got settled in and got to get a closer look it is in need of some updating. The food was ok but nothing special, for the price.

We have stayed here a few times now for short 1 or 2 night breaks. We are always made to feel welcome, the atmosphere is extremely pleasant and our dogs love sprawling in front of the log fire. The food is excellent, the service attentive and it's a great location for walkers.
