From your first point of contact with the owners through a telephone call you feel welcomed allready,and this continues throughout your stay.Nothing is too much trouble,and the service is outstanding.The rooms are spotless and modern.The breakfast's are out of this world.We will be returning to this little gem we found in Whitby. more

Whitby is one of our favourite seaside resorts. This stay was made all the more pleasurable by us staying at the Leeway. We chose this B&B for our wedding anniversary based on its reputation - and we certainly were not disappointed! The room furnishings were fabulous, rivalling 5 star hotels in quality. "Just back from a fabulous weekend at The Leeway in Whitby. Karen and Garry were wonderful hosts. Stayed here for 2 nights and couldnt fault it. Attentive hosts, comfortable room and a great breakfast ! A tip for people on a budget is to take a train trip along the lovely Esk Valley line to Middlesborough. It stops at 15 little stations along the way and takes about 85 minutes each way.
