First things first- this is THE best place to stay in Whitby. 'What qualifies you to say that?' I hear you say!. We had a two night stay in February and chose this B&B based on the reviews. We were not disappointed! This is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at. On arrival we were welcomed by Karen and given homemade chocolate cake (delicious) and a drink, she told us about Whitby - where to go, what to see... More

A great three-day trip to Whitby was partly thanks to The Leeway, which is in the perfect location for sightseeing, and which offers good breakfasts, and those lovely extras like a bowl of sweets in the hallway, fresh milk (no annoying little cartons) and a top-end drinks machine in the comfortable bedroom. Didn't see Karen - although her pancakes were... More

I went with a friend and had such a lovely stay. We were made so welcome but left to our own devices. The Leeway has a really central location, is immaculately clean and toasty warm (so vital in January!!!) and our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the powerful shower had loads... More

This is a lovely B & B a little. Bit up from the main town, but easy to find. It is also just up the road from one of the best restaurants in Whitby. We were a little early, but were greeted warmly, offered tea & home baked cake. The rooms were luxurious & warm. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful.... More
