The Grinkle Park Hotel is sold in the brochures and advertising as a luxurious and grand hotel of character and charm, which is also a wedding and corporate event holder. When driving up the grand entrance amongst acres of well maintained gardens, your expectations are as high as the brochures tell you. Everythings going well, and you're really excited after booking the hotel for that special occasion. It's all good, until, you get into your room. Check out the en-suite! a throw back to the mid 1980's (the last time it was refurbished). The bathrooms certainly do not meet expectations. No luxury here. An old over the bath shower head attached to the taps. Wallpaper falling off the walls, out dated decor, rusty taps. It's a real disapointment. So there goes that special treat you had planned.
