We stayed at the Waverley for 2 nights and during our time there we where made very welcome. The room was excellent with a very comfortable Queen size bed! The breakfast was to a very high standard made with local fresh food, The home made jam was very yummy! Would definatley recommend that you vist, We will be coming back!!...

The Waverley really is the best place to stay at in Whitby. Our hosts are always there to help if needed and to offer advice about places to visit in the area. Stephen and Julie made us feel very welcome. The Waverley is spotless and homely. it is situated in a quiet part of town within easy access of town or beach and near a lovely park. This was our first trip to Whitby and we benefitted from Stephen's local knowledge which was very useful. Breakfast is excellent. Altogether a lovely stay.

We stayed for 3 nights,the house is kept immaculate,the rooms are cosy with lots of little personal touches,including Eco.friendly toiletries.The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice,using local products.We will definitely stay here again!!

This was a return trip: there is an easy atmosphere, I was made to feel at home. The room was spacious and recently decorated with muted good taste.
