We have been going to the Fairhaven for many years now, and the quality and service never alters, it is always excellent. The owners are very friendly , the hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good as well. The hotel is in a good location, with the station a 15 min walk away for train enthusiasts... more

My wife and I have been visiting Goathland for the last few years and always stay at the Fairhaven . The present owners have been there for around 4 years and have updated the hotel into a nice homely place to stay. My wife and I recently spent two very enjoyable nights at this hotel and could not fault it. We have been to Goathland on several occasions but had never actually stayed in the village until now. We were allocated the family room on the second floor which comes with one double bed and 2 single beds. The room was spotless... more

We spent one night at the Fairhaven Hotel as wished we could have stayed longer. Excellent hotel located in a brilliant location overlooking the North Yorkshire Moors and just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the village of Goathland (aka Aidensfield).
