We booked this establishment on the basis of the previous reviews and ratings.Pleased to say that all our expectations were met or exceeded. The bedrooms, we had room 1 and the Bridge suite, were immaculate, well appointed, spacious and had wonderful views of the valley.Breakfast featured an extensive menu with even a daily special and was all cooked to perfection by Maria... more

This B&B is located in the beautiful village of Egton Bridge, only a few miles from Whitby. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and our room on the top floor was lovely. The breakfast was first class and the local pub is only a 15 minute walk away. I would highly recommend Broom House as an excellent place to... more

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend stay at Broom House to celebrate our anniversary. The guest house exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived to a beautiful evening meal, which we had previously booked, all home made. We then sat in the very relaxing lounge, with a cosy log fire burning, reading from the good variety of books... more

My partner and I stayed here just before Xmas as a pre Xmas new year break and absolutly loved it. From the fantasic room ( very comfy bed) the the exceptional breakfasts to the wonderful views everything was perfect. Eating breakfast watching the birds on the feeder and the pheasants wondering about the garden was a great start to the... more

Just returned from our second visit to Broom House and once again we had an excellent stay. Located in a very quiet corner of Egton Bridge, this B&B offers accommodation to a high standard and the owners back this up with excellent service and food. The lovely, isolated position of the house is still only a 10-15 minute walk from... more

This is a lovely B&B in a tucked away location with beautiful views and great hosts. The B&B has plenty of parking and pretty garden grounds (the owners sell chutney made from the fruit in their orchard). Our room was at the top of the house and very comfortable with a good sized bathroom and the usual tea/coffee facilities. (With... more

A hidden gem in a perfect setting. Accommodation, hosts, breakfast (with an additional choice of kippers or haddock) cannot be faulted. I am particularly fussy when it comes to bathrooms, but I was not disappointed, it was immaculate. Great location to access the Moors, Whitby, Goathland (Aidensfield/Heartbeat country). If you have a car then make sure you visit Runswick Bay... more

Very pleasant high quality b&b. Good on all counts, though not cheap. Compact but very attractive room. Comfy bed. Nice little touches like a hair drier. Owners pleasant. Breakfasts good. Lovely scenery. Less than a mile from the Beggars Bridge (folkies will know the Vin Garbutt song) where we glimpsed an otter. A roe deer blocking the road outside early... more
