What a lovely place to stay.My friends daughter booked this trip for a birthday treat and it was brill. From the clean modern room with all you need for a comfortable stay Fabulous choice of breakfast.Plenty to see/do.Very friendly staff.Would recommend this to everyone well done. more

We were made to feel very welcome, some great recommendations on where to eat thank you. Enjoyed our stay very much, very well situated in lovely quiet street only took us a 7 minute walk into town. Breakfast was fantastic and we would love to go back. Great customer service, lovely people. more

Lovely guest house - we arrived yesterday for one night at 11.40am to find our room ready so we were able to drop our bags & walk into the city. Excellent guest house. Check out their website, photos of each of the three en suite rooms. Immaculately clean, great breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Great location. Park outside the guest house and 10 minutes walk into York. more

What a fantasic place. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have extras that you don't find in many guesthouses. John and Linda are exceptional proprietors, nothing is too much trouble for them.
