The B&B was a little hard to find, but we phoned up and was given great directions.... Just look out for a Londis shop on the corner. We would recommend this B&B to anyone. It has a great location, accomodation is great and the food is yummy. But the best thing about it was the truly amazingly helpful owners, who will do all in their power to ensure you have a great stay. If you are visiting York stay here. more
For what you pay to stay at this B&B it's very good value for money compared to others. We had nothing to complain about cleanliness or standard of food. We would stay here again for sure. more
We thought the Crescent Guest House was a pretty good place to stay in York and very close to York Minster. We stayed in this B&B for the bank holiday weekend of August 2008. We always prefer B&B over hotels for their homely atmosphere. However when we booked Crescent we didn't know we were heading for a terrible place, with bad food and pathetic service. Our room was not cleaned but it was used and dirtied during our absence.
