We have just returned from a 3 night stay at The Forresters Arms from 1st to 3rd December. Although the weather was cold and snowy at times there was a warm welcome on our return from owner Fiona and her staff. A log fire was always burnig in the bar, much appreciated by visitors and locals alike. The accommodation was very comfortable and inexpensive, especially with the "winter special" rates. The food was excellent and could be taken in the bar or restaurant. Kilburn is a good centre for driving to various North Yorkshire attractions such as York, Scarborough and Whitby. If the weather is good it is a good place for walking. I you like to stay in a counrty pub this is the place for you. more
