We stayed for 2 nights at The hollies at the end of August 2007. we booked the place through the York tourist Guide website. The guest house is situated on Fulford Road about 1 mile form the edge of the city walls. Its the main road in from the Designer Outlet place on the egde of town. We were greeted... more

This is a lovely guest house, reasonably priced (we paid £63 for a night B&B for my hubby and I) and about a 10 min walk from the city walls. It is situated on the A19, so it's not a quiet road, but with the plethora of B&B's on the street all with 'no vaciencies' signs, clearly it doesn't matter.... more
